Inter Tribal Football Gala: Gurushi/Sisala triumph in penalty shoot-out against Dagomba

Gurunshi/Sisala won a nail-biting penalty shoot out to progress to the semi-final of the Inter Tribal Football Gala where they will play Wangara on Wednesday.

The repeat of Thursday’s game saw Gurunshi/Sisala won 5-4 on penalties after a pulsating draw

Gurunshi/Sisala shaded the opening forty five minutes but failed to find the net.

After the interval the Dagomba stepped up a gear and came far more into the match yet Gurunshi/Sisala came closest to scoring as Chibsah was denied by Fawzan Kepa.

Daniel Adarkwah also came close for Dagomba but his shot was blocked by the defense.

It was an end to end encounter but both team failed to find the back of the net.

Game went to penalties which ended 5-4 in favor of Gurunshi/Sisala after first round of five.
