Akuapem Polo explains reason for joining Islam

Actress Akuapem Polo, known in private life as Rosemond Brown, has explained her reason for joining Islam saying “i know exactly i am doing.

It comes just 24 hours after announcing a change in religious affiliation.

Polo on Tuesday announced her acceptance of Islam in an Instagram post, thanking some individuals for helping her in that journey.

But her decision also attracted huge reaction from her social media followers, with many questioning her sincerity.

Amid the reactions and the backlash she has been receiving, Akuapem Poloo has come out to provide some details about why she decided to convert.

In a self-recorded video she shared online, Akuapem Poloo revealed that her decision to convert to Islam has nothing to do with pressure from anyone, especially a man who supposedly wants to marry her.

In a video, the young actress explains her reason of joining Islam, which she says its a religion she is so much familiar with.

“Sometimes you just have to overlook somethings and focus on your life yeah let them think what they want. You just do what you want. Just make sure what you do pleases ALLAH ” she said.
