Inter Tribal Football Gala: Moshi snatch late equalizer against Yoruba

Yoruba shared the spoils against Moshi in the much-anticipated clash on Saturday at the Aboabo Middle B Park.

The Moshi’s fought back to snatched a late draw courtesy a header from Mustapha Destroyer.

Yoruba took the lead through former King Faisal midfielder Amed Alim in the 65th minute after heading home a free kick in the penalty box.

Both teams created numerous scoring opportunities with Yoruba getting look likely to get the second.

However, the Yoruba’s were punished by the Moshi’s with Mustapha Destroyer grabbing the equalizer in the dying embers of the game to hand his side a deserving draw.

The draw takes Moshie to four points after two games, whiles Yoruba have just a point after two games.

Gurma will face Yadiga on Monday in the second Group B game on Monday.
