Black stars captain set to leave Swansea when his contract expires in the summer
Andre Ayew to leave Swansea on a free transfer at the end of June when his contract expires.
The Swansea record signing, 31, has scored 35 goals in 106 appearances since rejoining Swansea from West Ham for an initial £18m in January 2018.
According to reports, Swansea were planning to hand Ayew a contract had they qualified for the English top-flight but missed out after losing in the Championship promotional play-offs final by 2-0 to Brentford at Wembley.
Ayew first joined Swansea on a free transfer from Marseille in 2015 and, after one impressive top-flight season he joined West Ham for £20.5m.
After returning to the Liberty stadium as a record signing , he has been the clubs leading scorer for two successive campaigns by scoring 18 goals and 17 goals for 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons respectively.
