Anas Seidu: Hearts of Oak legend dies

Hearts of Oak legend and member of the club’s ‘fearsome five, Anas Seidu, has died, the family has reported.

Seidu’s death was announced on Saturday, with a planned burial on Sunday.

Nicknamed Thunder, he is the third of the famous fearsome five to have died after Mama Acquah and Robert Hammond.

Mohammed Polo and Peter Lamptey are the two surviving teammates who led the onslaught in that famous ‘Miracle of Elwak’ in 1977.
