Afro Arab Group boss nominated for 40 under 40 award

The President of Afro Arab Group, Alhaji Abdul Salamu Amadu has been nominated for an award at the 2018 edition of 40 under 40.

The Forty under 40 Award identifies, honours and celebrates a cross-section of the nations most influential and accomplished young business leaders under the age forty from a wide range of industries.

Alhaji Salamu is renowned for his business interests in many sectors, but his nomination came in the sports category of the awards for his commitment towards supporting the development of sports in the country.

As a staunch fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Alhaji Salamu has on many occasions offered support to the Porcupine Warriors and as a patron of the Annual Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup, he has supported the integration of Zongo communities through sports by supporting the Ramadan Cup since its inception in 2015.

Alhaji Salamu is now a major financier of football development at the grassroot level as he now own a second division club in Accra. The second division offers many young players the platform to realize their potentials.
