Sani Daara expresses confidence in Black Stars ahead of Brazil friendly

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) media officer Ibrahim Sani Daara has expressed much confidence in the current crop of players at the Black Stars, saying Ghana’s current squad has several versatile players who makes the team amazing to watch.

Speaking hours ahead of Ghana’s friendly Match against Brazil on Friday, 23rd September,  the former Ghana Football Association Communication Director, said having some players within the national team who can play more than two positions and that is a headache for any team that will come up against the team.

He believes the current team looks well positioned than the last time Ghana played against Brazil in a friendly.

“Well maybe a better performance than what happened at Craven Cottage,”  he said.

It bolds well for us as you can see the boys are yearning to go, the team looks amazing, young players, jelling, the bonding is great people wanting to make a statement. So it looks good the atmosphere looks better than what we had in 2011 because if you look at this squad you can boost of at least two players for every position.

“There are some players that are versatile they can play 3, 4 positions so it’s a good headache to give the coach and also a good headache for any opponent Ghana will face,” He told 3Sports in an interview in France.

Ghana’s clash against Brazil is on Friday, September 23, 2022.

The Black Stars are hoping to shape the team ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
