Alhaji Akambi: Hearts of Oak board member graduates from Valley View University
Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak Alhaji Brimah Moro Akambi has bagged an advanced certificate in football business management and football scouting and talent ID from the Valley View University.
The former Hearts of Oak supporters chairman graduated alongside other top-ranking football administrators, coaches and broadcast sports journalists.
Akambi, who has been serving as a board of director of the former African champions since December 2015, has now been academically equipped to purse a diploma programme.
The graduation ceremony took place at the Valley View University Accra campus – Dodowa on August 28, 2022.
He prominently featured in the graduating class of the 28th Graduation band after completing a 3-month program in advanced sports executive certificate put together by the Valley View University and Linked Sports & Business College.
The long-standing Phobian top brass is expected to bring the knowledge he has acquired from the intensive theory-and-practical academic exercise on board to help the 2000 CAF Champions League winners to professionally run their affairs.
He has passed through the ranks from a supporters Chairman to a board member, being part of the good and the bad times of the club.
Linked Sports & Business College has partnered Valley View University to introduce the sports executive programs as a pilot to the specialised growing industry sports diploma and degree programs.
