Sadat Karim joins Greece side Apollon Smyrnis in One-and-half year deal

Ghana striker Sadat Karim has completed a move to Greece side Apollon Smyrnis from Swedishs side Halmstads BK, signing a one-and-a-half year deal after passing his medical.
The Former Hearts of Oak striker completed his free transfer following the end of his contract with the Swedish Superettan team Halmstads BK for a new socer adventure in Greece.
Karim, 31, joined Halmstads in January 2019 and went on to make 126 appearances, scoring 24 goals and providing 21 assists.
Since leaving Ghana for Sweden in July 2013, the Kumasi Sabon Zongo-born has played for Swedish clubs such as BW 90 IF, Landskrona, and Prespa Birlik. Apollon Smyrnis was demoted from Greece’s top flight at the end of the 2021-22 season and is hoping to return after the 2022-23 season ends.
They are presently third in the Greek second-tier league, with 20 points from 9 games. Smyrnis played goalless with PAE Egaleo in their last league game. Apollon Smyrnis will take on strugglers PAO Rouf in their next game in the Greek Super League 2.
