Kudus on Wednesday went enigmatic as his 33rd minutes strike gave him a moment of ecstacy in his Champions League history.

It was the 21-year-old’s first starting berth this season under Manager Alfred Schreuder and he justified why keeping him at bench was more of a peril to Ajax.

Mohammed Kudus after watching Edson Álvarez open the scores dor  side’s scores in the 17th, having being phenomenal in the midfield had something to show.

After 15 minutes, the Black Stars attacking midfielder set-up a brilliant pass for Stephen Berghuis double their lead.

Ajax’s F-Side Ultras in the stands were still in full party mode when Kudus crashed in the third, but it was oh so easy.

His close control and spin caught James Tavernier napping, with the Rangers captain failing to make a convincing job of stopping the Ghanaian galloping forward and skelping a thunderous shot across McLaughlin and in off the upright.

Having warmed the bench in his first four games in the Eredivisie, the Ghanaian is gradually claiming a spot in the Ajax set-up.
