Sulley Muntari wins second throphy with Accra Hearts of Oak
Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari on Sunday won his second trophy with Accra Hearts of Oak after the Phobians came from a goal down to defeat Bechem United in the 2021/22 FA Cup Grand Finale at the Baba Yara stadium.
It comes few months after winning the President’s cup with the 21 times League Champion, ending his seosnal deal at Accra with cup in Kumasi.
Muntari was an unused substitute in the clash that saw Caleb Amankwah and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scoring to secure the Rainbow lads their 12th FA Cup glory.

Forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh put the Phobians ahead in the second half after connectimg a cross from Gladson Awako to slott home from close range.
Muntari is one of the twelve new players who joined the Phobians in a turbulence season that saw them lose the Ghana Premier League title to their perennial rivals Asante Kotoko.
The team however fought hard to defend the FA Cup, keeping their status as the record holders.
They earlier won the President Cup in March after defeating Kotoko 2-1 in Accra, a game
Muntari signed a year deal with the Phobians and marked his debut in 1-0 loss to Accra Great Olympics in the league.
But Sunday’s glory makes him one of the few players to have won the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, Serie A, Coppa Italia, Super Copa Italiana, Club World Cup, President’s Cup and the MTN FA Cup.
