Inter tribal Football Gala : Zabarma defeat Bissa to boost register first win

Zabarma registered their first win of the competition with a 1-0 win Bissa on Friday.

A first half strike from Dominic Adiyiah was enough to hand them the maximum points.

Although Bissa was tagged as the favourites to win today’s game, Zabarma upset the odds to steal a delightful win.

Zabarma took advantage of their good start and got the opener in the 13 minutes of the game.

Domnic Adiyiah punished them in the penalty box after been left unmarked in the penalty box.

Both teams had some fine goal-scoring opportunities, with Salim coming close on several occasions for Bissa but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Bissa continued to probe after the break looking for the equalizer, but could not succeed with the Zabarma defending with every strength.

Thanks to today’s 1-0 win against Bissa, Zabarma have moved second on the group standings same points with Bissa.

Hausa lead the group with six points, with Gonja having nothing to show after two games.
