Baba Rahman donates to childhood club

Ghana international Baba Abdul Rahman has donated football items to his Tamale-based childhood club Young Mateors.

Having hit the top level in his career, the left back, who plied his trade at Reading, returned to his Colt club in Tamale to donate two sets of jerseys, two sets of football hose, 30 footballs and cash donations of GHC 7000.

The donation was made on behalf of the Black Stars and left back by their elder brother, Alhaji Sulemana Baba, while Alhaji Abass received it on behalf of the club.

Baba spent his formative years at Young Mateors from 2004 to 2010 before joining Dreams FC in Accra.

He later moved to Asante Kotoko where he won the 2011/2012 League.

Baba now plays as a left-back for Reading, on loan from Chelsea.
