Royalty and humility personified

When Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia  met the Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Ghana’s 63rd Independence Anniversary Celebration at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, it was a remarkable display of humility and royalty by the two.

Characteristically, Dr. Bawumia submitted to the Asantehene by squatting to the lowest level possible, to exchange pleasantries with the Asante in a stunning show of reverence towards royalty by the 2nd Gentleman of the land.
