Former Second Lady, Hajia Ramatu Aliu Mahama, passed on in April this year. After her immediate burial in Tamale in accordance with Islamic customs, a State funeral (adua) was held on Saturday June 4 in Accra for her.
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu officiated the ceremony, which was graced by President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia and a host of dignitaries from all walks of life.
