Black Star and Anderlecht midfielder Majeed Ashimeru, through his foundation, has donated to the Mamobi Muslim community ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebration on Friday.
The foundation donated items such as bags of rice, bags of sugar, cooking oil, chickens, etc. to some needy Muslims in Mamobi, the birthplace of the 25-year-old.
Thursday’s donation exercise forms part of the Foundation’s act of generosity towards society.
It is meant to bring smiles on their faces as the Islamic Word marks the festival of breaking the fast.
The Foundation has been helping the Islamic community at every Eid celebration since Ashimeru traveled from Ghana to Europe.
Ashimeru joined Red Bull Salzburg from Wafa in 2017 before moving to Anderlecht in summer 2020.
