Do good for Allah’s sake – Imam Hassan

The Imam Ebony/ Kotobabi in Accra has urged Muslims to do good for God’s sake as Islam requires.

In his sermon on Friday, Sheikh Hassan Osman Nombre said there is not any blessing in doing good for populism or for financial gains from a donor.

He said the intention for any good deed should always be for the sake of Allah, to please him as the rewards for those deeds will come from him alone.

He said showing off to others can nullify the blessing one could receive for doing those acts of virtue.

He, therefore, condemned the act in which a Muslim will organize an Ifar and take video recordings of it and send it back to foreign donors or his financiers for business purposes.
