
Midfielder Kudus Mohammed was adjudged the best player in Ghana’s 3-2 win over South Korea in the second Group H encounter at the Education City Stadium in Doha in 2022 FIFA World Cup group.
Kudus scored a brace to ensure the Black Stars pick their first 3 points, becoming the first Ghanaian player to achieve that feat.
The Black Stars of Ghana ended the first half with a 2-0 lead courtesy strikes from Mohammed Salisu and Kudus Mohammed before the South Koreans restored the parity after the hour-mark in the second half.
A 68th minute goal from the 22-year-old earned Ghana’s first win at the 2022 World Cup after losing the group opener against Portugal.
Kudus Mohammed has now scored two goals and provided an assist in his two appearances at the global showpiece.
Ghana will play their last group on December 3 against old foes Uruguay, who faces Portugal in the other group H encounter.
