Inter Tribal Football Gala: Moshie defeat Gurumah in opening group B game

Sule Abdul Malik scored in the 78th minute as Moshie pipped Gurmah 1-0 on match-day 3 of the Inter Tribal Football Gala on Thursday.

The first half produced no goals from both sides, however, Moshie were gifted with golden opportunities to give take the the lead, but Gurmah goalie was on hand to deny them.

Both sides matched into the second half with no lead, and when it appeared the match would end barren, Sule Abdul Malik capitalized pounced on a rebound to give Moshie the lead.

With 12 minutes to end regulation time, Gurumah mounted pressure to draw parity, but the Moshie’ defense were on alert to defend the 1-0 score line.

Goalscorer Sule Abdul Malik of Moshie was named player of the match.
