Social media and various Zongo and Muslim platforms were set agog as the Muslim Community, celebrated the outstanding feat of a young Muslim woman, Mumuni Napari Hanifa.
The married young lady, said to be in her late twenties, accomplished a remarkable feat of bagging a PhD in Applied Science – a feat which got many talking on social media.
However, the most fascinating development was not the feat itself. Rather, it was how her beloved husband, Rashid Lancer, led her eulogies on his social media page.

In a romantic fashion, Lancer wrote how his wife acquired the PhD in three years, addressing her by her new title and reiterating his love.
His message sparked spontaneous reactions on social media, as many joined in sharing and writing their own congratulatory messages, for a rare feat many have described as an inspiration.

Below is what Dr. Hanifa’s husband, Lancer, wrote on his Facebook page:
Oh! Yes Mumuni Napari Hanifa, PhD.
How long I’ve waited for this day. Now, I’m completely dumbfounded!
You’re the smartest person I know and you keep on reaching greater heights everyday. However, adding a PhD in 3 years in Applied Statistics is the BAR!
I know. This is just the beginning of greater things to come. May this milestone be a blessing to our family, friends and the society.
I love you Dr. Bae ❤️.
Oh Yes! I’m the husband of a freaking Doctor!
