Hon. Zak Rahman expresses appreciation to Ayawaso East for the ‘show of love’ during Father’s Dua

Aspiring Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso East constituency, Honourable Zak Rahman, has expressed his sincere appreciation to the constituents and the general public for their unwavering support during the recent passing and “Dua” of his beloved father, Alhaji Zak Merigha.
The Dua held on Wednesday, September 13, was graced by a large crowd of personalities, including Religious leaders, politicians and government appointees, showing love and respect to the bereaved family.

During this challenging time, Honourable Zak found solace and strength in the overwhelming support he received from the public. The outpouring of condolences, well-wishes, and acts of solidarity touched his heart deeply and provided him with the fortitude to navigate the grieving process.
And in a touching display of strength and gratitude, Hon. Zak, who is contesting in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries for the constituency, said he was truly humbled by the “presence, support, prayers, and show of love” during the tragic loss.

The philanthropist and the youth activists took to his social media page to thank all those who supported him in diverse ways.
The loss of Alhaj Zak Merigha, a revered community leader and pillar of the Zongo community, sent shockwaves through the entire region. The entire community mourned his departure and collectively grieved the loss of an esteemed figure who had dedicated his life to serving others.

The Ayawaso East Constituency rallied around Honourable Zak, demonstrating their unwavering support by attending the funeral in large numbers to pay their respects to Merigha. Wednesday’s event saw a community united to celebrate the life of a man who had touched the lives of many, highlighting the profound impact he had made on the lives of those he encountered.

The Honourable Zak, known for his charisma and dedication to public service, recognises the immense responsibility placed upon his shoulders in continuing his father’s legacy of compassion and community development. He acknowledges that his late father’s teachings and guidance have shaped him into the leader he is today.
