Ho Municipality Set for Metropolitan Upgrade: A Promise of Progress from Vice President Bawumia”

In a significant announcement that has sparked excitement in the region, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed the government’s plans to elevate the Ho Municipality to Metropolitan status. Speaking at the commissioning ceremony of the Ho Municipal Assembly Complex, he emphasized the importance of this upgrade, stating, “The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has made considerable progress towards this goal, with an official declaration expected soon.”
Dr. Bawumia expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Asogli Traditional Council for their persistent advocacy for this change. He reassured the community, saying, “We are taking the necessary steps to ensure that Ho receives the recognition and resources it deserves.” His words resonated with the local leaders and residents who have long awaited this development.

The Ho Municipal Chief Executive and Ho Central New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate, Divine Bosson appealed to the electorates to vote for his party in appreciation of the projects.
“When you continue to vote, you vote for forward match, when you vote, you vote for development. For 32 years we have been electing our leaders, presidents, and MPs. They have something small to show for your votes or nothing at all.
“This is the time, if there is anything we can do to say thank you to the NPP as a party in government is to elect Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the next President of this country.
