Former Black Stars Goalkeeper Fatawu Dauda has been appointed Goalkeeping coach of Ghana’s U-20 side, the Black Satellite.
The 37-year-old recently announced his retirement from football to pursue a coaching course.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced new coaches for the U-20 national team on Monday.
Samuel Boadu was named head coach and he will be assisted by Desmond Offei and Salifu Fatawu.
Fatawu Dauda last played for Legon Cities, after making a huge return into the Ghana Premier League.
Dauda spent three seasons at Enyimba and won one league title with the Aba giants.
He also had stints in South Africa with Orlando Pirates and Chippa United.
Dauda made 26 appearances for the Black Stars of Ghana.
He was in post when Ghana failed to progress from the group stage in the 2014 World Cup.
