Dr. Bawumia donates Nissan pick up to National Muslim Council
The Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has made a personal donation of a brand new Nissan 4×4 pick up vehicle to the National Muslim Council.
The vehicle was presented to the Council at the National Mosque after Jummah prayers today, on behalf of Dr. Bawumia, by Alhaji Ben Abdallah Banda, Presidential Coordinator for Zongo Development.
Dr. Bawumia, addressing the opening of the 4th National Muslim Conference in Accra last week, responded positively to a request by the National Muslim Council for a vehicle to ease their movements.
Dr. Bawumia also presented 500 copies of the Holy Qur’an to the National Mosque.
The National Chief of Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, received the Qur’an.
