The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, on Friday 5th August, commissioned an ultramodern Mosque and School complex at Ablekuma Joma in Accra.
The move forms part of Imam’s contribution to society the and growth of Islam in the country.
The mosque serving as place of worship, will also functions as a focal point of education, social welfare, community gatherings and allied forms of important social interaction, officials have said.
In attendance was the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and fellow graced the commissioning ceremony.
The National Chief Iman has been a champion of community and national development, especially in education, and these latest charity works attest to his commitment to service to humanity.
He has been instrumental many developmental projects and fostering peace among the beyond Islamic boundaries.
