Torric Jebrin: Former Hearts of Oak playmaker joins Chitwan FC of Nepal

Former Hearts of Oak playmaker, Torric Jebrin has signed for Nepalese side to Chitwan FC, extending his stay in the South Asian country.
It marks a globtrotting career for the Ghanaian youngster who came in to limelight in the 2007/08 season of the Ghana Premier League.
Chitwan FC announced the signing of the dribbling midfielfielder on Thursday, describing him as an “attacking maestro”.
“Welcome to the heart of our midfield, our new attacking maestro, Torric Jebrin, ” it said.
The club, however, didn’t disclose the duration of the contract and how much it worth.
Jebrin thus joins fellow country man Rafiq Aminu, who played for Wa Sunataa.
In 2022, the former Hearts of Oak gem played for Friends Club in the Nepalese A Division which comprises of 14 teams.
The 2023 Nepal Super League starts on 23 November but Chitwan are in action on the second match day when they travel to Pokhara Thunders.
In this league, which is franchise-based, a team can recruit three overseas players and field two at a time.
All matches are played in the single round robin format.
Born in kumasi, Jebrin joined Accra Hearts of Oak at a tender age, where he played for three seasons, being part of the clubs league winning squad of 2008/09.
