NPP Candidate for Ayawaso East Zak Rahaman tackles water shortage in Constituency
Sponsors trucks to supply water amidst local disruption

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso East Zak Rahaman, , has taken decisive action to address the ongoing water shortage affecting his constituency.
In response to the crisis that began on Sunday, 25 August, Mr. Rahaman has organised the distribution of water via trucks to residents in need throughout Ayawaso East.

Early Thursday morning, a scene of community relief unfolded in Nima, a key area within the constituency, as residents gathered around trucks carrying water, sponsored by the Ayawaso East NPP candidate.
These trucks, strategically positioned at various points in the constituency, have come to their aid by providing a vital supply of clean water to the affected communities.
Speaking at one of the distribution points, Mr Rahaman said: “As soon as I became aware of the water shortage impacting our constituency, I knew immediate action was necessary. We’ve mobilised these water trucks to ensure that every part of Ayawaso East has access to clean water during this difficult time.”

The parliamentary hopeful for Ayawaso East elaborated on his quick response: “My team and I worked tirelessly to arrange these trucks and establish an efficient distribution system.
While it’s a temporary solution, we’re committed to keeping these trucks running and supporting our neighbours in Ayawaso East throughout this challenging period.”
Mr Rahaman’s proactive approach has resonated with local residents. Many expressed gratitude for the timely intervention.
Addressing the logistics of the operation, the candidate Mr Rahaman reaffirmed his commitment to keep supporting until the GWCL finally fixes the problem.
“We’ve ensured that these trucks are refilled regularly and positioned at key points across the constituency. Our goal is to make clean water accessible to every resident affected by this shortage.
“We’ll keep these water trucks operating as long as the shortage persists. Every resident of constituency should have access to this basic necessity.”
