The Ghana Police Mosque has announced that it will mark the holy month of Ramadan with special lectures to be held on a weekly basis.
It forms part of many other activities being hosted by the mosque to commemorate the 2023 Ramadan, which began on March 23rd.
Four different speakers from the Ghana Police Service will each treat a topic carefully selected for the maiden event, themed “Unforgettable Ramadan: Obedience, Reflection, and Change.”
The four sessional events, beginning on Wednesday, March 29th, will have C/SP Hussein Abdul Rahim and Imam Abass Abdul-Karim as moderators.
The two-hour Lectures per day, will offer the Muslim Umma the opportunity to “learn about Ramadan”, a statement from the Mosque indicates.
“The Ghana Police Mosque is excited to announce the maiden specialised Ramadan lectures every Wednesday (March 29th, April 5th, April 12th, and April 19th, 2023) from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm,” it said.
“Our theme is Unforgettable Ramadan: Obedience, Reflection and Change. Come out and learn about Ramadan.”

During the holy month, the event seeks to promote compassion and sympathy among all Muslims with the organization of different activities, including lectures that reinforce tolerance and strengthen social ties and deepening team spirit among the Ummah.
