Afro Arab boss glorifies Allah for success of Emirates Arena

Businessman Alhaji Abdul Salamu Amadu has glorified the Almighty Allah for the successful completion and inauguration of the magnificent Emirates Arena in Nima.

The beautiful edifice was commissioned over the weekend in Nima after months of construction work and a massive injection of capital in the seemingly impossible project.

Speaking to journalists after the inauguration over the weekend, a delighted Abdul Salamu gave credit to the Almighty Allah for giving him the strength and resolve to undertake the project.

“I give glory to Allah for the success of this project,” the Chairman of Afro Arab Group told journalists.

“It is not all about money. You may have all the money alright, but without Allah’s guidance, you can’t even halve the vision and the resolve to undertake such a project,” Abdul Salamu added.

“Many people thought this wasn’t possible but I was confident and I’m grateful to Allah, as well as all those who supported me.”

The young businessman revealed that a few of his friends stood solidly behind him with unflinching encouragement to make his vision of constructing a football complex in the heart of Nima a reality.

With Nima, New Town and the Kokomlemle areas considered as football hub in Accra, Alhaji Salaam confident the facility would provide a decent platform for many footballers to enjoy their game on a modern pitch.

The near 1000 all-seater capacity complex, which can also be used for boxing and other social gatherings, has a VIP lounge protected glass, two-tier stands, under ground dressing rooms and three giant screens.
