Ghana Women Award 2023: Aisha Bawa wins Outstanding Female Midwife

Medical staff at the Manhyia Hospital, Aisha Bawa, has been voted the 2023 Outstanding Female Midwife at the Ghana Women Award event held on Sunday, June 4.

It comes just 17 months after winning the National Best Nurse Award for the year 2021.

The award-winning midwife has made waves all over the country, following her remarkable knowledge and experience in saving lives in her line of duty.

It is her third award in two years, as prior to her being recognized at the national level, she had clinched the title of “Regional Best nurse” in 2021.

She was also awarded a citation by the Bissa Development Association (BDA) at the Sukuma 2022 for her efforts in putting Bissa ethnic group on the world map.

Her exploits at the medical field has been hailed by many as he is seen to be a shinning example to the many youth in the Zongo Community.
