Abdul Rashid Abubakar: Accra Lions midfielder joins FK Sarajevo

Midfielder Abdul Rashid Abubakar has completed a move Accra Lions FC to sign a year deal with Bosnia and Herzegovina giants FK Sarajevo.
It comes after playing a huge role in Accra Lions’ historic qualification and successful stay in the Ghana Premier League for the 2021/22 season.
The 22-year-old completed his move to Sarajevo from Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions after inking a deal that will keep him at the club until December 2024.
Abdul Rashid Abubakar was one of the best players at Accra Lions in their maiden season in the Ghana Premier League, playing 27 games, providing two assists and scoring one.

Abubakar adds lots of options to FK Sarajevo set up as can play doubles roles as a holding and attacking midfielder
He becomes the ninth signing of Sarajevo in the summer, following the arrivals of Ivan Ikić, Nemanja Tomašević, Frane Čirjak, Vlatko Drobarov, Marin Aničić, Nardin Mulahusejnović, Adnan Džafić and Musa Muhammed.
He has joined his new teammates as he prepares to start his career in Bosnia.
