Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has called on the Ruler of Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh.
The Vice President and his delegation were received to the magnificent Al-Yamamah Palace on Sunday by King Salman himself.
Other senior Saudi officials present included Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, Assistant Special Secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Tamim bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem and the Minister of State for African Countries’ Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan.
Dr Bawumia conveyed a message from President Nana Akufo-Addo to King Salman and the the king also extended his greetings to President Akufo-Addo-Addo.
Saudi Arabia and Ghana enjoy cordial ties and this visit is expected to consolidate relations between the two countries.
