The Chairman of Afro Arab Group, Alhaji Abdul Salamu Amadu, has been recognized and awarded as one of the most influential young leaders in the world at a ceremony in The Gambian Capital Banjul.
The award ceremony was organised by the Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation and hosted by the Africa Europe Youth Leadership Summit in Banjul.

The summit recognised thirty most influential global young leaders across the African and European continents, the Afro Arab boss was one of the thirty selected and honoured.
Miss Khadijatu Iddrisu, Board Secretary of Afro Arab Group, Miss Khadijatu Iddrisu, received the award on behalf of Alhaji Abdul Salamu Amadu, who was absent at the ceremony in The Gambia.
Miss Khadijatu Iddrisu on behalf of Alhaji Salamu, expressed his delight and appreciation to the organizers for the recognition.
The award in Gambia is the latest award to be received by the business magnate and philanthropist. As a business executive, Alhaji Salamu, has business interests in the banking, football, and real estate industries with significant investment in each sector.
And as a philanthropist, Alhaji Salamu has contributed significantly to the socio-economic development of people in Ghana especially in the Zongo communities. He supports and promotes social activities which are aimed at facilitating social change in communities, particularly Zongo communities.
Alhaji Salamu’s latest project is the construction of an ultra modern football facility, the Emirates Arena, in Nima to provide a platform for young footballers in the area.
